Fine Gael TD for Wicklow, Deputy Andrew Doyle, has welcomed the announcement from the Minister for Education and Skills, Ruairi Quinn, that four schools in County Wicklow have been targeted to have their prefabs replaced with permanent accommodation. The announcement was made by the Minister under the Prefab Replacement Scheme (Phase II) 2013 and will see St Saviour’s National School, Rathdrum, Colaiste Bhride, Carnew, St Michael’s Girls National School, Arklow and St Joseph’s National School, Arklow all have prefabs replaced with permanent accommodation during the 2013/2014 school year.
