Speaking on the recent appointment of Wicklow Fine Gael TD Simon Harris to Minister of State in the Department of Finance and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform by Taoiseach Enda Kenny, Andrew Doyle, Wicklow/East Carlow TD, congratulated his colleague on his promotion and looks forward to working together with him.
Doyle said, “I am very pleased that finally Wicklow has a Ministerial position and one that encompasses Finance, Special Responsibility for the OPW and Public Procurement and International Banking.”
“This is a very responsible role and I know that Simon will work diligently and bring his own style to the job. We have worked closely on a number of issues for the betterment of Wicklow and I want to sincerely acknowledge how pleased I am for Simon.”
“I look forward to working with my colleague as Minister Harris” added Doyle.
