Local Diaspora and Architectural Heritage; Structures at Risk schemes set to benefit local communities in Wicklow

Minister of State for Food, Forestry & Horticulture & Wicklow TD, Andrew Doyle, has this week welcomed announcements that a total of five projects in Wicklow are to be awarded funding of €46,300 from the Local Diaspora Engagement Fund and the Structures at Risk Fund as part of the built Heritage project scheme. “The Local Diaspora fund 2016, overseen by the Department of Diaspora & Overseas Aid, is designed to promote diaspora engagement at a county, local & community level in line with the objectives of Global Irish:Ireland’s Diaspora Policy published in March 2015.
